I tried to install biztalk2004 on a pc in domain using doamin account
IBS_DOMAIN\lliu. I got this error: Failed to generate the maste
secret (error code 0X8007000E). Return Code: 4. And then I clicke
retry got another error:An unexpected error occurred whil
configuring the Single Sign-On server (The service cannot be started
either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled device
associated with it.)
Anybody can tell the reason? Thanks a lot

Is this a reinstall scenario? If yes, yo need to delete the sso.bak file
from SSO installation directory. Also you may need box adin permission to
start the SSO service.

Also make sure there is no previous SSO database. The configure of SSO is
really a headache even for our product team. You could also disable a
module that you don't want to configure by deleting the registry under
BizTalk Server registry branch. For SSO, it is called something like
"ConfigureModules\SSO Server".
And yes, you are right.:) Nice to talk to you.
